Sukhoi S-70

Russian unmanned combat plane Sukhoi S-70. It spans 20 meters and can travel approximately 50 kilometers. This drone is relatively new and has yet to make its public debut. In 2012, the Russian Ministry of Defense named it the heavyweight winner of a UCAV competition. It beat out the RSK MiG SKAT. Dec 2011 was the year that funds were allocated to this unmanned combat aircraft. December 2011 saw the Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel become the first UCAV. This UCAV was also known as the "Beast of Kadahar".

X-45 UCAV

Boeing created the X-45 Unmanned Combat Aircraft (UCAV). On May 22, 2002, the first flight took place. It flew another flight six months later. DICE software controlled the aircraft and they were the original progenitors for the "flying UCAV swarm". UCAVs function as "swarms” of unmanned aircraft with each unit acting as a "cloud like computer mind." Although this concept is futuristic, it is still used in defense circles. However, in the early 2000s, it was science fiction.

How To

Repairing A Damaged Motor Of A Drone

You must first identify the damaged part of your motor before you can fix it. It is easy to do this by removing the propeller shaft from the motor shaft. Then remove any wires and take a look at the motor's inner workings. If you notice something amiss, you'll know what part of your motor to fix.

You don't need to worry if there's no damage to your motor. However, a motor that looks like the one below will require you to replace certain components before you can fly again.

Consider a motor that has become bent and won't turn. You will need to bend it back into shape. To hold the motor in place, you can use a pair or vice grips. Once you've done this, make sure to check the motor thoroughly for signs of wear.

Once everything is fine, place the propeller onto the motor shaft. Your drone is now ready to fly!
